Joe Luxton and his brother decided to make a calendar for their mother for Christmas where they re-enacted some of their precious childhood photos. Now, grow-up and full of beard, this equally precious set of pictures is probably one of the best examples of this latest internet trend since the Back to the future series by Argentinian photographer Irina Werning.

Notice the attention paid to the details, including hunting down the same “red nose day” t-shirt. They even managed to include dad and Uncle Dave as well as their dog in the fun. The results of the Luxton brothers’ efforts are documented on the Tumblr blog entitled Then/Now.
