Although I couldn’t care less about the recent PokemonGo foolery that’s appeared to have seized the world over, I find it highly amusing how the US Fish and Wildlife Service has been engaging with it. Taking advantage of the popularity of the game, the US federal agency dedicated to the management of fish, wildlife, and natural habitats in the US, has released a set of virtual trading cards that highlight similarities between Pokemon Go characters and their real-life wild counterparts, particularly those found within the Pacific Region. So instead of chasing a Sandslash or a Butterfree, why not try and spot some real wildlife?

Here are the trading cards from the campaign “PokemonGo vs. WildlifeGo”.
