The film, that thrived on the wonderful chemistry of Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, encashing the positive hype around its source Chetan Bhagat’s novel of the same name, has already made 100 crores worldwide, much to everyone’s surprise.

The film currently stands at 87.31 crores‘ total in the domestic market and has accumulated another 21.50 crores gross from overseas. With that the film’s cumulative total stands at 108.81 crores worldwide.

Made on a modest budget, the film’s great performance is mainly because of the warm and lovable nature of Bhagat’s novel which was the source for the film’s screenplay.
