2014 hasn’t been a tremendous year so far if viewed from the box office angle. The year has had lukewarm responses for most of its heavy films which haven’t performed as expected whereas a few surprises like Queen have popped our way.
Though Jai Ho stands at the highest income cumulative of 58.50 crores so far, the film obviously won’t stay on the opening weekend list of 2014 for too long. With massive films like P.K and Happy New Year lined up this year, ironically the best chances are that Salman’s Kick will oust Salman’s Jai Ho.
The other films following it on the list are namely Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor starrer Gunday, Sunny Leone’s Ragini MMS 2, Shaadi ke Side Effects and mostly the unexpected Main Tera Hero, all of which were average performers and hence it won’t take long for the upcoming films to surpass these movies from Koimoi’s Opening Weekend List.
