Sujoy Ghosh recently made an announcement that definitely took everyone by a surprise, courtesy the stellar cast. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and award winning actress Vidya Balan will come together for a thriller tentatively titled TE3N, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
While Vidya's role is said to be just a cameo, Amitabh and Nawazuddin will be leading the show in the film. Talking about conceptualizing the plot, Sujoy, who is the creative producer of the film, revealed that the film was initially just an idea, which left Big B so impressed that he asked Sujoy and Ribhu to develop it into a full-fledged script. On the other hand, Sujoy Ghosh also asserted that Vidya's cameo is not just any special appearance but a small yet pivotal role that will add to the twist. However, he refused to divulge any details on the characters that the actors will be playing in the film.
He also mentioned that the three of them (Amitabh, Nawaz and Vidya) will be playing local inhabitants of Kolkata and hence TE3N will be shot in the city. He is planning to wrap up the shoot schedule by the end of January 2016 and is looking for a mid-2016 release.
