Since its inception, NH10 has grabbed a lot of attention owing to the fact that it will mark the debut of Anushka Sharma as a producer. The film, which deals with the violence and gang wars in the interiors of Northern India, recently was launched with much fan fare.
NH10 also has Anushka Sharma playing the lead, who is on a mission to survive and fight the killers of her husband. Since, it is a crime thriller involving a lot of bloodshed and gore, the censors have decided to rate the film as 'Adults only'. Also agreeing to this decision, director Navdeep Singh stated that the film was never meant for children and hence he is happy with the certification. Though he was disappointed over the fact that some may miss the film due to the 'A' certificate, he maintained that he did not want to compromise on the content.
NH10 also stars Neil Bhooplam of '24' fame along with Darshan Kumar of Mary Kom fame. Along with Anushka Sharma, the film is also co-produced by Phantom Productions and Eros International and it is slated to release on March 6, 2015.
