If there is one man who is enjoying the best of both the worlds, then, it has to be none other than A R Murugadoss. Looking at the success ratio that he enjoys not just in Bollywood (Ghajini, Holiday), but also down south as well, it becomes needless to say that all of his films are as definitely eagerly awaited.
Putting an end to all the guessing games, Fox Star Studios has announced their next production titled Akira (which means 'graceful strength' in Sanskrit), which will be directed by none other than the A R Murugadoss. This film will see Sonakshi Sinha playing the title role. Her role is that of an intense character, but a misunderstood girl who is forced to fight back when she is put in a corner. The film, which is an emotional thriller, will also see Sonakshi performing some lethal action for the first time on the celluloid screen. The movie highlights a strong social message and it focusses on the safety of women, the burning issue which the country is currently facing.
Akira will be shot in Mumbai, Pune and Rajasthan.
