Avengers : Age Of Ultron, the second installment of The Avengers hit the screens yesterday. The Hollywood superhero drama has taken off to a brilliant start as it collected 10.85 crores at the India Box Office. The collections are huge considering that it was a non-holiday release.

This is the second-biggest opening of the year after Fast and Furious 7. The collections for the sequel are much higher than its last film. In spite of releasing in lesser screens than Furious 7, Avengers has managed to pull off an amazing opening day collection.

The 3D film has been riding high on its positive reviews and also with a string pre-release buzz in India with what over 50 brand tie-ups, it was expected to take the India box office by storm. The weekend will be a good time for Avengers to jump to a higher figure. It will be interesting to see if it can beat the opening weekend collections of Furious 7.
