Farooq Sheikh

The Veteran actor, philanthropist, and a great human being, Farooq Sheikh, succumbed to a heart attack in Dubai yesterday.

Farooq was one of the finest actors Indian Cinema and Television had ever witnessed. He was popularly known for his roles in Shatranj Ke Khiladi, Bazaar, Chashme Baddoor, Lahore, and many more critically acclaimed movies.

The 65 year old was reported to be in Dubai for a concert, where he suffered from a cardiac attack. A close family member revealed that the actor is no more. The last rites would be conducted in Mumbai.

Sheikh was last seen in Club 60, and earlier this year was also spotted in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Highly aggrieved by the sad demise of the star, the whole tinsel town has resorted to social networking sites to express their grief.
