"I'm truly excited for the sequel of The Xpose and happy for my dad that I have given him a hit franchise as he is the official producer of the film," says Himesh Reshammiya as he announced the launch of The Xpose sequel after the success of his recently released film. The sequel will begin with a non-stop 50 day schedule from Dec 7 till February 7th 2015. The music launch will be on April 3rd and the musical thriller will be released on May 29, 2015.

The Xpose sequel is based in the era of 1970s when Rajesh Khanna ruled the hearts of millions of girls. Several girls committed suicide since they couldn't win Khanna's love but one girl is killed. Ravi Kumar (inspired from Raj Kumar sahab), played by Himesh unearths the mystery.

Four supporting artistes, two actresses and one big star who will play Rajesh Khanna will be announced soon. "Ravi Kumar's character has been universally appreciated by critìcs as well as audiences. The quirkiness in his dialogues is the big highlight and we intend to make the sequel a landmark film in music, thrills, visuals and dialogues. The script will explore the stunning truth of the 70s Bollywood," Himesh says.

Creative Producer Rakesh Upadhyay informed Bollywood Hungama that the director of The Xpose sequel will be announced soon since Ananth Mahadevan wanted a 50% increase in his remuneration.
