Old memories make you smile every single time and when it is something related to a film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, it is but obvious that the smile will widen. The film always brings out the warmest reactions from those who have loved and enjoyed it.

A friend had once told me, anyone who was born in the 90s and has watched DDLJ can never be a SRK-hater. There is charm about the man which is irresistibly infectious.

On completing 300 weeks at the box office, Uday Chopra teamed up with Kajol, SRK and the late legend Yash Chopra to talk about the film. SRK was more full of vigor in those days and his energy was superlative.

Interestingly Khan said in the interview that he had never fathomed commercial success to the extent that DDLJ showed him. He had no idea what is the optimum number of weeks a film should run to be a success. DDLJ was his first stint with overwhelming box office success and that gave him the Numero Uno status in the industry which he has managed to hold on to even after 2 decades has passed.

Koimoi brings for you the first part of the interview with DDLJ team :
