Actress Nanda was one of the yesteryear's heroines of Bollywood, who kept the legacy of the tinsel town flying high. But today morning, the whole of Bollywood came to a standstill with the unexpected news about her passing away.
Nanda, who was born in a Maharashtrian family, started working in films even as she was a child, as her father had passed away early. Later on, she went on to do films, which gave Bollywood its original doe-eyed shaped heroine in the form of Nanda. Films like Bhabhi, Agra Road, Toofan Aur Diya, Angaray, Naya Nasha, Chhaliya etc, were testimonials of the stuff Nanda was made up of!
