Now that she is a global icon, Priyanka Chopra has received an opportunity to work with renowned social worker and First Lady of the US Michelle Obama. Readers may recall that the actress attended the White House dinner last May which is when Michelle had apparently approached the actress for the new campaign. The said initiative has the actress collaborating with Michelle Obama for girls’ education.

Talking about the opportunity, Priyanka Chopra expressed how honoured she was when she had the First Lady Michelle herself approach her and also the fact that she knew the initiatives Priyanka had undertaken with UNICEF. She was thrilled when Michelle suggested the idea of working together for the girls’ education campaign.

On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra, after a Christmas and New Year break in India, has taken off to the US where she has even resumed shoot for her TV series Quantico.
