After winning hearts in Bollywood and making a debut in international music, Priyanka Chopra is on her way to garner some more accolades now. As per latest reports, the former Miss World has lent her voice in English and Hindi for a Hollywood feature film, Girl Rising.
The film, comprising nine stories of young girls who used education and rose above poverty from around the world, has been directed by the Oscar nominated director, Richard E Robbins.
When dug more, we learned that Priyanka has done voice over for the Indian story. Deeply moved by the story, she has watched the Indian story many times and has suggested her friends to do the same.
The Indian story of the documentary has been written by Sooni Taraporewala, who has glory of writing the screenplay for Salaam Bombay. Another highlight of the movie is that it has voice overs by famous international names like Anne Hathway and Selena Gomez.
