Shah Rukh Khan starrer <em>Raees</em> has been on the backburner for a while. As it managed to successfully avoid a clash with the Salman Khan starrer <em>Sultan</em>, the film is all set to see the light of day next year. And now fans can eagerly await the details of the trailer launch of the film.

Ritesh Sidhwani, one of the producers of <em>Raees</em>, recently took to Twitter to post about the release of the trailer saying, “#RaeesTrailer date time place official announcement coming soon.. stay tuned for next 48 hours..luv”. Though nothing has been revealed as yet, reports suggest that the trailer of the film will be releasing next week. In fact, we hear that the makers of the film are looking to have a grand trailer launch with Shah Rukh Khan interacting with people in over nine cities.

It is being said that <em>Raees</em>, which is inspired by real life incidents during the Prohibition period in Gujarat, will be streamed in over 3500 screens in India. Moreover, fans across nine cities including Delhi, Indore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Moga (Punjab) and of course Mumbai will get a chance to interact with Shah Rukh Khan who will be present there via video conferencing. Shah Rukh Khan too expressed his excitement about interacting with the pan-India audience.

<em>Raees</em> marks the debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in Bollywood and also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a prominent role as he plays the role of a cop. On the other hand Shah Rukh Khan plays a bootlegger in this Rahul Dholakia directorial which is slated to release on January 26.
