Disney & AGPPL has announced the release date of Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro. The Ashutosh Gowariker directorial will release during the Independence Day weekend in 2016.

The makers have decided to release the film on a non-holiday Friday, 12th August, giving the film two holidays over the course of its 3-day weekend.

Mohenjo Daro, introduces Pooja Hegde as the film’s female lead. The film is being touted as an epic romantic drama set in the ancient times and will dig deep into the historic land of Mohenjo Daro.
