Ever since the release of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the film has dominated the box-office and has continued its reign into its fifth week too.


Along with ruling the Indian markets the, Tiger Zinda Hai is ruling the worldwide box office too. The movie has been earning well at the overseas market. Well, we knew Salman Khan had fans all over the world!


The movie has collected an amount of $ 20.21 million (128.58 crores) at the overseas box office while the domestic box office collections are 335.50 crores. Which makes a grand total of 558.02 crores globally.

The spy-thriller, which is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster, Ek Tha Tiger, revolves around Salman as a RAW agent, and Katrina as an ISI (Inter-services Intelligence) agent, and their deadly mission to rescue 25 nurses, who have been held hostage by ISIS, a terrorist organization. Tiger Zinda Hai will also benefit from the fact that this Friday did not have any major releases for the Hindi film industry.


The action flick that has Katrina performing some breath-taking stunts alongside Salman also has some beautiful picturesque locations as it has been extensively been shot in Abu Dhabi, Austria, Morocco, and Greece.


Tiger Zinda Hai is directed by Sultan helmer Ali Abbas Zafar. The film had some kickass action stunts performed by the lead pair which will keep you on the edge of your seats.

Veteran actor and BJP MP Paresh Rawal has credited veteran writer Salim Khan for his first commercial hit “Naam” and his son superstar Salman Khan for his “biggest” hit Tiger Zinda Hai.


Paresh was seen in a pivotal role in the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial “Tiger Zinda Hai” in which he played an undercover agent named Firdauz.


“Father Salim Khan saab gave me my first commercial hit (Naam) and his son Salman Khan gives me my biggest hit (Tiger Zinda Hai),” Paresh tweeted.


Produced by Yash Raj Films, Tiger Zinda Hai, which also stars Katrina Kaif, crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office.
