Contemporary actors, especially the heroes are looking at experimenting with their roles by adding that tinge of grey to their characters and after Sidharth Malhotra did that with aplomb in Ek Villain, now its Varun Dhawan who will be revealing his dark side in the film Badlapur.
Earlier we had reported that the actor's character will span three generations and now we hear that the actor will change his physical attributes for the film. While in the initial stage we will see a rather slim Varun, as the movie progresses, Varun is said to put on a few kilos considering that the actor will also play an older character.
Badlapur also stars Yami Gautam who plays the role of Varun's wife while Huma Qureshi plays the role of a prostitute and it also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
