In our country we have given freedom as a right, obviously we are a democratic country. Unfortunately this freedom is often misused. In our nation, there are people who are living in good terms and by obeying our constitution. But there are some people who are interested in crimes. They are font off illegal activities which they believe to be as the easiest way to fill the wallet. The by-product of these unethical business are crimes, kidnappings, murders, drugs, smuggling, trafficking etc. Such criminals and crimes are often supported by the politicians & bureaucrats, in return they get money. In other words the money for betraying their mother land. We got freedom in 1947, now it's almost a quarter to century, but we are still struggling in development. There are many reasons for their struggle, out of it the crimes & bribery holds a pioneer index. Another disaster we are facing is the drugs. Compared to western countries, in our country usage of drugs are comparatively less but it's a slow poison to our country. Gangsters are the watch dogs of all these illegal businesses. With crime & money together forms a dangerous equation which could act as a parallel government. Even the defense measures in this country are in danger, since there is a group of people who loves money over country our defense secrets are being sold for a good price tag. As said in the introduction, High way is a movie about all these social insects. Movie starts with a excursion journey, final year students of Rana college of Engineering in Karnataka are commencing their excursion. Vinod Menon is the gang leader. On the way they stopped near a small tea shop for refreshment. Vinod had a craze to photography. He went to the nearby cliff for a long shot. When he zoomed his camera to a nearby bridge, he saw some thing shocking. He saw some people are stabbing at an innocent man. He realized that the man with the knife was the chairman of their college, Mr. Shankar Dev Rana himself. He called his friends too. But the small daughter, Janaki of their professor screamed when she saw the scene. Rana & his men heard of her and they chased them. The students went to the nearby police station and handed over the photograph negatives. S.I in charge was Pavitran, but he was also the man of Rana. Students proceeded with their excursion, but on the way one of the men of Rana, pretended to be as a handy capped and asked for a lift. He gifted a doll to the Janaki. And he left the bus. There was a bomb in the doll ! and the bus exploded. Every one in the bus were killed. This disaster invited the attention of Central government. The RAW (Research & Analyse Wing) take the case in file and assigned two officers namely Sreedhar Prasad & Moorthi. Sreedhar prasad came first. His superior officer suggested him to stay in winter green, a town ship which is about five kilometer away from the disaster point. Sreedhar introduced himself as Mahesh, a planter from Udumban chola, who have came to buy some land. He managed to have a rent house from Kartha. Meera is his daughter. When she saw him for the first time she felt a crush on him. Sreedhar started his investigation, he started from a local motel where was the drug business. With the help of police Sreedhar put an end to their business. Moorthi joined him after some days. In the investigation they came across the tea shop and held an inquiry. As usual crime investigation stories, movie goes through some interesting tweaks. Sreedhar figured out the shocking mystery of space research failures. And finally they get to Rana. As
