Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s latest film, “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat“, opened strongly at the Indian box office on Tuesday, boosted by the holiday season in India. Although the film is facing stiff competition from Ayushmann Khurrana’s Thamma, it managed to attract a solid number of footfalls and registered a respectable opening-day total. The film has received favorable reviews from both audiences and critics, which should help it maintain a steady run at the box office. Given the current trend, it is likely to surpass the ₹50 crore mark with ease. Moreover, if the momentum continues through the weekend, its lifetime collection could reach ₹80–90 crore, or even touch ₹100 crore.
