Nychos is a street artist from Austria who creates highly imaginative “exploded-view” murals showing animals, humans and other characters in motion with their bodies dissected, skinned and cut into anatomical sections. Growing up in a family of hunters, Nychos developed a strong interest in anatomy. At a very young age, he saw things which normal people would consider as cruel and brutal, such as a deer being sliced open and their guts and intestine falling out. That left quite an impression in Nychos mind, albeit in a positive way. Later when he started painting, he combined his love for comics and cartoons and anatomy and developed his signature style.

Nychos is also the founder of the art movement called REM – Rabbit Eye Movement.
