Over 15,000 outdoor sports enthusiasts from all over China assembled at a hillside near Mount Wugongshan in China's Jiangxi province to take part in the annual International Camping Festival, this September. Jiangxi Province, located in the eastern part of the country, is considered by many to be home to China's most beautiful countryside due to its natural ecology, as well as its long history and tradition - a scenic spot with grassy marshland, cloud covered peaks, springs and waterfalls. The event, currently its 6th year, was organized by the Wugong Mountain Scenic Area Management Committee to encourage outdoor activity, love for nature, and green philosophy, aside from promoting tourism in the region. Various fun activities like rock climbing and tug-of-war were organized.

The event concluded on September 15, 2013.
