Japanese artist Tanaka Tatsuya has been photographing his collection of diorama dolls interacting with everyday objects he finds around his house to create dramatic and often humorous scenes. He has been doing this everyday, one scene per day, for the past four years to create a “Miniature Calendar”. So far he has created more than 1,000 scenes, and he isn’t likely to stop anytime soon.
The project started in 2011 in response to a comment on Instagram, in which a follower wrote, ‘I want to see the miniature calendar everyday‘. Tatsuya answered by posting something daily, and realized that the project was too good for him to quit.
