Aamir Khan has always been vocal about the efforts he and his team has put in to bring about a social change in the country, but, the actor has never gone public about extending his support to a particular party. However, recently, members of the AAP (Aam Aadmi Party) have been falsely claiming that he has been a part of their party which has left the actor miffed. Hence, Aamir has written a letter to the election commission of India to take immediate action against this.

The workers of AAP took to twitter and have been using the actor's image in one of their campaign posters claiming that Aamir has been supporting their party and all of this, without the actor's consent. Spokesperson of Aamir confirms the news and adds, "Aamir Khan from day one has made it clear that he will not be endorsing a particular political party. He is not supporting or campaigning for any political party."

Hence, Aamir Khan has written to the election commission clarifying that he is not endorsing any particular political party.
