John Abraham as Sam and Akshay Kumar as Mac made us fall from our seats laughing back in 2005 when they starred together in Priyadarshan’s Garam Masala. Latest news is, Garam Masala 2 is on cards and the leads have discussed this idea.

Akshay Kumar has already many movies in pipeline and there are many rumoured ones too in the list. Hera Pheri 3 is such one film which is in talks for Akshay Kumar. He is already committed to do Housefull 4 and that’s a comedy too.

John Abraham, in an interview with Filmfare, revealed about the idea of Garam Masala 2 and said, “I would love to do Garam Masala 2. Akshay and I have discussed it and we look forward to doing something like that. I still laugh thinking about it. It’s my favourite genre. I love comedy. I am a big fan of Anees Bazmi, David Dhawan, Sajid Khan but I need to be offered a good film. People think that comedy is the easiest thing to do but it’s the most difficult thing to make people laugh.”

Akshay Kumar and John Abraham were also seen in Rohit Dhawan’s urban-comedy Desi Boyz and their chemistry was appreciated by one and all. Garam Masala is a loved film and its sequel will only be a treat for its fans. The concept of shooting major chunk in one house was mastered by Priyadarshan and it’ll be interesting to see what is the store for us in its sequel.

John Abraham is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Parmanu – The Story Of Pokhran and also prepping up for Satyameva Jayate with Manoj Bajpayee. Whereas Akshay Kumar is busy shooting his upcoming period war drama Kesari. He also has movies like 2.0 and Housefull 4 in his bag.
