Bipasha Basu’s Alone, which was a complete combo of sex and horror, made a below average business on its 1st Friday. As per early estimates, this Bhushan Patel directorial has collected 3.50 crores on Day 1 at the Box Office in India.

The collections could have been better, since films with such genres have the tendency to do better business in mass circuits and single screens! An opening of 4.25 crores would have been pretty good for Alone. Nevertheless, even if the film picks up today and tomorrow, Alone can still stand at a good opening weekend figure.


The other two films that released this week, namely – Crazy Kukkad Family and Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene, performed extremely poor and have a disastrous Day 1 collections, which are in the range of 20-25 lakhs nett.
