Mohit Suri’s next directorial venture, Half Girlfriend which is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel has now been postponed. The film starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor was earlier slated to release this year in October although has now been postponed.

The film is all set to roll this May and will be now releasing next year on 28th April, 2017. While Arjun and Shraddha had been busy completing their other projects, the film got delayed. Arjun is currently promoting his upcoming film Ki & Ka which releases next moth while Shradda too will soon begin promotions for Baaghi and has wrapped up with Rock On 2.

This is the first time Arjun and Shraddha will be seen sharing screen space. Earlier, Kriti Sanon had been approached for the lead role.
