After the success of 2 States, it is time to see Arjun Kapoor playing the leading man in yet another adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel 'Half Girlfriend'. Post a few changes, it was finally announced that the Kapoor lad will play the protagonist along with Shraddha Kapoor as his leading lady. And now, the film is all set to go on floor in May.
Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor both have releases in April, with Ki & Ka and Baaghi (respectively) post which the two will start work on Half Girlfriend. The film is a coming of age romance that blooms between two individuals who hail from completely different worlds. Tracing a journey that travels across Delhi, Patna and New York, it is set amidst the backdrop of linguistic barriers that exist in the country.
Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Half Girlfriend is slated to release on April 28 next year.
