Big Star Entertainment Awards have declared the nominations for their awards show that is to be held tonight. Organized by Reliance Broadcast Network, contesting for most segments and categories are few of the year’s biggest films namely – Chennai Express, Krrish 3, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Madras Café, Ramleela, Bombay Talkies, Shuddh Desi Romance, Krrish 3, Dabaang 2 and Race 2. Defying the usual moulds of categories that popular award functions usually have, they indeed came up with more unique categories like Most Entertaining Social – Drama Film, Most Entertaining Action Film, Most Entertaining Thriller Film, Most Entertaining Comedy Film and Most Entertaining Romantic Film for which most of the afore mentioned films are battling it out.

For the category of the year’s most entertaining film are Aashiqui 2, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Chennai Express, Krrish 3, Ramleela and Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani.

Amongst the Most Entertaining Female Actor in a Romantic Film, the following actresses have claimed nominations – Deepika Padukone (Ramleela, Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani), Parineeti Chopra (Shuddh Desi Romance), Shraddha Kapoor (Aashiqui 2) and Sonakshi Sinha (Lootera).

Among the males in the same category, here are those who bagged nominations – Aditya Roy Kapur (Aashiqui 2), Ranveer Singh (Lootera), Ranveer Singh (Ramleela), Ranbir Kapoor (Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani), and Sushant Singh Rajput (Shuddh Desi Romance).

For the category of most sensational songs, the following female singers have been nominated – Shreya Ghoshal Nagada Sang Dhol (Ramleela), Sona Mohapatra, Ambarsariya (Fukrey) and Sunidhi Chauhan for Dilli wali Girlfriend (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani).

Among the males in the same category are the following versatile male battling it out – Arijit Singh, Aditya Narayan Jha, Siddharth Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani and Yo Yo Honey Singh.

Kicking off 2013′s Awards season already, the nominees are excited for winning the treats of their toiling before the year draws to a close.
