High Court exempts Akshay Kumar from personal appearance in defamation case news

Akshay Kumar had kickstarted the year with Jolly LLB 2 which was a satiricial courtroom drama.  In the trailer, Akshay Kumar had mentioned the brand Bata footwear in it. After the trailer release, the brand Bata had filed a complaint against the makers of the film. In the complaint that Bata India Limited had filed, they had alleged that first official trailer had disparaging comments and defamatory reference against their brand.
