The director of mass entertainers, David Dhawan’s new film Main Tera Hero has opened with a decent business at the Domestic Box Office. The film managed to rake in 6.25 crores on 1st Friday i.e. Day 1.

The collections are pretty good, but the film had the potential to open with great numbers since it is a quirky comedy with a dash of freshness. Moreover, the pre-release buzz around the film was fantastic!

The funny dialogue promos and of course Varun’s impeccable sense of comic timing was visible in the trailers too. But what affected badly was the ongoing examination season, which affected the morning and afternoon shows of the film and then India’s important cricket match, in the evening, of the on going T20 world cup.

Nevertheless, the film will pick up over the weekend and gather a good collection since the film has received good critics ratings too. In fact, the film has already started witnessing a better occupancy today!
