Last month we had reported that after casting Irrfan Khan and John Abraham in the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Jazbaa, director - producer Sanjay Gupta had roped in Shabana Azmi for the film. Now we hear that Gupta has also cast Shraddha Kapoor's brother Siddhanth Kapoor in the film.
Confirming the news, Sanjay Gupta who has earlier worked with Siddhanth in Shootout At Wadala, states that the actor would be seen playing a troubled individual undergoing psychiatric treatment in the film. Adding that, Siddhanth Kapoor will also be sharing quite a bit of screen space with Aishwarya that is certain to leave an impact.
Jazbaa which is said to be an action thriller drama will feature Aishwarya as a very strong female character, playing the role of a lawyer while Irrfan Khan will reprise the role of a suspended cop who has problems with authority and discipline. Shabana Azmi who was cast earlier will be seen playing Siddhanth's mother in the film, while John Abraham will be seen in a pivotal cameo.
Produced and directed by Sanjay Gupta, Jazbaa is slated to go on floors in January 2015.
