Salman-Anushka starrer Sultan has become the top grosser of 2016 at the worldwide box office.

In 5 weeks, the film has grossed 420.49 crores (nett. 300.35 crores) at the domestic market and 168 crores at the overseas box office. It now stands with a total worldwide collection of 588.49 crores.

Sultan has also turned out to be the 2nd most profitable film of 2016. The film has made a profit of 210.35 crores which is 233.72% at the box office. It is behind Neerja which has made the profit of 260%.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Sultan also stars Randeep Hooda, Amit Sadh and Kumud Mishra in supporting roles.
