Sultan has held on well in the second weekend. The film brought in 7.43 crore more on Friday, which is actually its 10th day at the Box Office. With this, the collections now stand at 236.59 crore. In the process, Sultan has now gone past the lifetime collections of Salman Khan’s own Kick [232 crore].

The Ali Abbas Zafar directed film is now at the fourth spot of all time highest grossers:

PK – 340.8 crore

Bajrangi Bhaijaan – 321 crore

Dhoom 3 – 284 crore

Sultan – 236.59 crore

Kick – 232 crore

Box Office - Sultan crosses Kick, is Salman's second biggest grosser everBox Office – Sultan crosses Kick, is Salman’s second biggest grosser ever

Then film’s next major milestone is to go past Dhoom 3. While that would happen, chances are tough for the film to enter the 300 Crore Club, unless there is a very huge jump today and tomorrow. As for Salman Khan’s biggest grosser ever, it would stay on to be Bajrangi Bhaijaan till his next Eid release Tubelight (with Kabir Khan) arrives.

Meanwhile, one waits to see whether Dangal turns out to be the highest grosser ever and Aamir Khan topples his own record of PK. Or it would be Shahrukh Khan’s Raees in January 2017 that would aim for these honors?

Note: All collections as per production and distribution sources
