Yaariyan is one shocker of a hit. With the film’s first week collections streaming in, the team has every reason to feel elated. Made on a small budget of 10 crores excluding its promotional cost of another 9 crores, the film featuring absolute debutants has  scored massively  at the box office. Over the first weekend Yaariyan got a giant opening of 19.20 crores and now as the film’s first week collections come to a draw, the film has made an income of 31.50 crores at the domestic box office.

The film’s music caused ripples which helped the marketing strategy which was primarily focusing on targeting the youth. The word of mouth played a huge role in making the film a success.
