Teja Sajja and Ritika Nayak’s starrer Mirai had an excellent opening at the Indian box office. Riding on the success of Hanuman, Teja Sajja’s latest release drew strong footfalls in theaters. However, its performance in the Hindi market has not yet matched the level of Hanuman. Since the film has received positive reviews from critics and is benefiting from strong word-of-mouth, it is expected to grow over the weekend and remain steady during the weekdays.

Made on a modest budget of around ₹40–50 crores, Mirai faces no major hurdles in turning profitable through its theatrical run. If it manages to replicate Hanuman’s performance in Hindi, it could turn into a megahit. Based on the current trend, the film looks set to collect around ₹70–75 crores in its lifetime at the Indian box office, though the weekday trend will provide a clearer picture.
