Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday starrer Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri failed to make an impact at the Indian box office. The film released at a wrong time, as two big films, Avatar and Dhurandhar, are still dominating theatres. Among them, Dhurandhar has been on a strong run since day one and has already become the highest-grossing Bollywood film in India as well as worldwide.
Had the makers postponed the release, the film might have managed decent business. However, releasing it alongside such strong competitors has sealed its fate. Despite a decent opening of over ₹5 crore due to the Christmas holiday, the film received below-average word of mouth. This is expected to affect its overall performance, and the film is now likely to end its theatrical run with a lifetime collection of less than ₹50 crore, making it another box-office disappointment.

The film was originally planned for a Valentine’s Day 2026 release but was instead released theatrically on 25 December 2025 to coincide with Christmas.
