The same thing happened with a poor villager who wanted to get marry his daughter, who was ugly and could attract no one. Neither had he monery enough to tempt somebody with a rich dowry. . One day he saw a Kings daughter being married with great pomp and show. He also started thinking. . And unbalncing his mental equilibrium he became a King. The King of `Andher Nagri and called himself `Chaupat Raja. . He tried to bring in radial changes in the social and political life of the country. He tried to give new intwepretation to `Equality and Justice. But ultimately made a mess of everything Equality meant the same price for everything Gold of cowdung Elephant of Donkey Jusice meant the same punishment for every crime, for murdering a person or spitting on a public road. . Like the grinding stones of a mill these new laws crushed everthing and everybody without distinction. And crushed was an innocent pair of lovers Madho and Imarati. But the girl rebelled and brought the King to his senses. . It was this incident that brought back to him the problem of his daughter. He held a great Swayamwar to choose her consort. But even the endless riches of his Kingdom failed to tempt any prince to accept his ugly daughter. This insult enraged him to his extent of madness. If his daugater could not marry, than no girl in the Kingdom could be allowed to wed. . How such blind laws almost crushed those innocent citixens, and how all the laws recoiled back on the King himself to bring him back from the golden heaven to the muddy earth, this piece of paper is not sufficient....
