When the times were really hard, Surya and his friend Satyan decides to commit a big time robbery. The house they select happens to be that of film actress Jyothika. She catches them red handed and her scheming manager makes her complain that Surya has misbehaved with her. This lands him in jail. An enraged Surya kidnaps Jyothika to teach her a lesson. During the hostage, she develops a liking for him. But the scheming manager stage manages another kidnap of Jyothika to extract a ransom!
