Guru's father knowing this nature of his son, makes him promise to never lose his cool under any circumstances. Guru meets Divya (Meera Jasmine), a law student and falls for her. An ex-convict takes up residence near Guru's home. He is the right hand of the local don Reddy who controls all the politicians. Guru's temper causes him to lash out at them and thus he is framed in a false case thus making him ineligible for the IPS post. Guru sues the police department and through a series of long dialogues wins his case and becomes IPS.
