Here the disaster which he faced was not bounded with the so called fate, this fate was decided and executed by some crooked heads. Such criminals get the help of government servants and they challenges the democracy. They acquire the control over poor people using their muscle power and exploits them. Throughout the history this has been happening all over the glob. They make their own system and their own rules. No one dare to challenge or question them. Those who do that will be sent behind the bars. He losses all his dreams, he losses his ambitions, he losses his love, he losses his family, he will be framed as a culprit in front of society. May be his loving ones will misunderstand him, and even think him as a worse individual. Sounds so pathetic isn't it? Well this is the story thread of this movie. Mukundan is a bank employee, who is now assigned as the branch manager is Sravanagiri, a remote village near Karnataka border. Actually he was being sent to replace Antony who the current bank manager. Antony supported the local gangster named Thimmayya. He was a land lord. He gave money to people as gold loan, as guarantee he kept their land documents with a signed blank paper. With the help of Antony he acquired bank loan over those documents without the consent or knowledge of the owners. Mukundan came to Sravanagiri without knowing these. This is one of the core part of the movie. But movie commences like a flash back, now Mukundan is a taxi driver in city,now he is not worried about his present or future. But living in the memories of past. So let's go back to the past where it was paused. As said, Mukundan joined the bank and Antony got suspended for his suspicious activities. He convinced the leader of farmers, Parthan; that he came to help them. Now our romantic part starts, Mukundan had met Radha, sister of Parthan. He felt a crush on her, and ended in a love affair. Mean while Thimmayya returns to Sravanagiri, he lost his temper when heard about the recent 'causalities'. He challenged Mukundan. Days passed Mukundan went on with his Bank ventures and special schemes. One day Parthan's father came back to the village with his second wife. He went long back from them leaving them behind. Now he need his house back . A huge dispute went on between Parthan & his father. Some how his father retreat and got the shelter of Thimmayya. He came to know about the love affair of his daughter and he promised Mukundan for the marriage and he brought some off the record money from Mukundan. But it was a trap. In the next day Mukundan got arrested. Without realizing the truth Radha agreed for another marriage, but after some days she came to know about the truth. Now let's back to the present, Radha now not wanted to continue her family life. Her husband loved her lot, but her mind was disturbed. He tried to suicide, but the fate has saved him through the hands of Mukundan. Now Radha met him again, and she wanted to be with him.
