Later he joined as Prof and Head, Department of Pathology, Nizams, Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad(1986 to 2004).He was also Dean, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Science from 1992 --1997. And now he is DIRECTOR-Global Medical Education and Research Foundation of Global Hospitals. Recently, He was conferred with the prestigious award of “Dr.Shankar Benerjee Memorial Gold Medal award” for 2006 for distinguished services for the uplift of pathology”, Prof GovindaReddy Gold Medal Oration of NTR University (2209) Prof D.J.Reddy Gold Medal Oration (2011), Dr Sambrani memorial lecture, Gulbarga(2011),Dr G. Laksmipathi Memorial Lecture (2012) Padmabhushan Smt Avabai Gold Medal Oration 2013., Dr Aravind Memorial Oration, Chennai Medical College and Research center,Trichy,2014.
