Description: Enjoy the Bollywood horror movie, Makdee (2002), directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, featuring Shabana Azmi and Shweta Prasad in the lead role. Chunni (Shweta Prasad) hails from a small village in North India. She resides with her widowed father (Vijay Raj), grandmother (Mohini Mathur) and twin sister Munni. Chunni is the one who is notorious and plays pranks on every second person in the village, while Munni is of a complete opposite nature. Chunni, Munni and their friend, Mughal-E-Azam (Aalap Mazgaonkar), are constantly in odds with the local butcher, Kalu (Makrand Deshpande). There is a huge mansion in the village which is considered to be haunted with a witch, Makdee (Shabana Azmi) residing in it. It is said that anybody entering the mansion, turns into an animal with the magical powers possessed with Makdee. Once Chunni plays a prank with Kalu. Kalu mistakes Chunni with Munni and runs behind her which results in Munni entering the mansion. A hen comes out of the mansion and everyone assumes that Munni has been turned into a hen by Makdee. Chunni seeks help from the village to free Munni but no one comes to her rescue. She decides to enter the mansion by herself. Right after her entering the mansion, Chunni's professor (Daya Shankar Pandey) also enters the mansion and a dog comes out. People again assume the dog to be the professor. But this confusion is soon solved when Mughal-E-Azam informs people that the dog in non other than his pet who went missing a few years back. Meanwhile, in the mansion, Chunni strikes a deal with Makdee to set free Munni. What is the deal? What is the secret of humans turning into animals? Will Munni ever come out of the mansion?
