Chandra is an intelligence officer and Shankar is a pilot. The Central Intelligence Department receives information about a foreign spy named Jackson, who has infiltrated India and has communicated with alliances within Kerala. The intelligence department appoints Chandra as the chief investigator for this case. Jackson sends a letter through a woman to a man named "Silver Head", who is the leader of a secret society in Kerala. Despite having his suspicions about this woman at the airport, Chandan's brother Shankar somehow helps her escape. Silver Head kills the woman after taking the message from her. Then Chandra finds her dead body along with a diary in which the names of two notable persons in Kerala are mentioned - Mr. Raja (Govindankutty), who is a gulf returnee, and Swamiji (Jose Prakash). Chandra appoints Kunnjunni (Adoor Bhasi) as his assistant to investigate this case. He meets both Raja and Swamiji but gets no leads on the case. He also meets Maala (Sheela) and Kala (Padmini), who are daughters of Raja. He falls in love with Maala and also comes to know that his brother Shankar is in love with Kala. Chandra then gets a chance to visit the "Lover's Club," which had a secret link with Silver Head. Chandran and Kunjunni get a message about a messenger of Jackson also visiting the beach-club and bringing some valuable information. They seize the opportunity and acquire the valuable information from the messenger. But this provokes Silver Head. At this point, the plot takes a turn when it is revealed that Raja and his daughters are secretly working for Silver Head. Chandran gets an intelligence report that Jackson is coming to India and sends Kunjunni to capture him at the airport, but he fails. Silver Head orders Raja to hand-over his daughter Maala to Jackson for his pleasures. Raja and his daughters protest against this order. In another turn of events, it is revealed that Swamiji is the real Silver Head. Swamiji arranges a hotel room for Jackson to meet with Maala. Chandran and Kunjunni, disguised as room service, come to the hotel room, capture Jackson, and lock him up. Later, Shankar sneaks into the police station and helps Jackson to escape without letting Chandran know. The mafia later arranges for an escape route for Jackson, but he is again captured by Chandran and Kunjunni. This provokes Swamiji and he decides to kidnap and kill both Chandran and Kunjunni. Chandran and Kunjunni are kidnapped in the mafia's secret dungeon, but Maala arrives at the spot and helps them escape from the dungeon. While being kept in this secret place, Chandran discovers that his brother is also involved in this gang and that Swamiji is the real Silver Head. After escaping from their custody, Chandran arrests his brother Shankar. Swamiji realizes that Maala is the one who helped Chandran and Kunjunni to escape. To seek revenge he shoots at her. While trying to protect Maala, Raja and Kala get shot and die. Right at this climactic moment, Chandran and Kunjunni, along with the rest of the police force, come to the mafia hideout and capture all of the gang members. It is later shown that Chandran, despite having loved Maala, arrests her along with the rest of the gang as she was a part of the mafia.
