Synopsis- Chinnayya and two his close friends come to Chennai in search of a job. They find a job in a flour mill and stay in a rented accommodation. They are leading a contented life until they are arrested for the assault of their mill owner's daughter Radha. They are unable to prove their innocence until Ganga (Lakshmi), their house owner, a lawyer herself defends their case. Radha on the other hand confesses to her mother that it is Raghu (Nizhalgal Ravi), her lover who is responsible for her condition. Her mother Kanakavalli asks Radha to conceal this so that the truth will not come out in the open. She also asks Radha to cut off ties with Raghu completely. But as the case stretches on and hope emerges for Chinayya and his friends, Raghu and his father hatch a plot to get Chinnayya out of the way and become the sole owners of Radha's wealth and property. Things get further complicated when Prathap, Radha's fiance also lands in the scene. Is Ganga able to prove Chinnayya and his friends innocent? Or does fate have something else in store for them?
